Salome Role Breakdown:
SALOME (teens/early 20’s) The princess. Emotionally stunted, she is magnetic, volatile, dangerous. Commanding presence, dance/movement a plus.
HEROD (40’s/ 50’s) The ruler. Wealthy, indulgent and unwielding.
HERRODIAS (30’s/40’s) The queen. Ruthless and insecure. Clinging to power while threatened by replacement.
JOKANAAN (20/30’s) John the Baptist. A prophetic force. Unyielding and severe. He stands apart from the world around him.
FOUR SUPPORTING ROLES (20+, any gender)

The Old Town Hall Theatricals is a community theater group based in a historic 1896 theater that features musical events, mainstage performances and a writer's group.
The mission of The Theatricals is to showcase local talent and provide transformative artistic experiences to the people of our town. Formed in 2023 to complement the growing artistic scene in our area, The Theatricals offer thought-provoking dramatic productions meant to bring our community together.
With support from the Town of Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition, The Theatricals draw on their network of professional artists, actors, and musicians to mount original productions in the Studio Around the Corner and historic Old Town Hall Theater - the gem of Brewster Village.
