Our mission is to serve as a cultural arts center for the community and thus we are actively engaged in restoring the Southeast Old Town Hall, a historically important structure in the Brewster Village. This structure houses Old Town Hall Theater on its top floor, the Southeast Museum on the middle floor, and our facility, Studio Around the Corner on the bottom floor. We are in cooperation with the Town of Southeast and we aim to spearhead the restoration and reopen the theater in the coming years. Once the OTH theater is again operable, it will serve as an ideal venue for plays, concerts, films, and other community events, as well as a catalyst for economic development.
We hope to reopen the theater one day soon, simultaneously providing a boost to economic vibrancy in the area.
